Moody has to be regarded as one of the best pure shooters of all time, especially in the SEC. If he was on a more talented team he'd get so much more national exposure. We should be killing them with how well we are shooting, but they have Moody and well...yeah.

I hate when we just give it to Obasohan and everyone just watches and stares while Retin just runs around. I wish we'd just run a play sometimes.

If Stefan Moody was on a better team, then he'd be benched for taking 27 footers early in the shot clock...

Just like J.J. Redick was at Duke?

Redick got most of his shots off screens.

In reality though, it's a new era of basketball. The Steph Curry era and contested 27 footers are a good shot as long as they go in.

I really don't think Moody is that good though.

Then of course it could all go just as wrong too.....gators need this one to have any chance of making the big dance. Would be nice to move in and move vandy out all in one fell swoop.

Based on resume? Absolutely.

What I think will go in their favor is (3) 7-footers and exciting guard play plus some big wins.

BTW, they got robbed at the end of the game. They put 6.0 seconds on the clock and as Nessler said, it should have been 7.6 seconds, thus making the shot good. That said, they had every opportunity in the world to win that game so I don't really care.

Today they may have gone from last four in to last four out. That's Vandy for you!

I think Nessler was referring to when Vandy SHOULD have fouled, with that much time on the clock. At least that is how I interpreted it.

The Vols lost their two regular season meetings with Vandy. They were playing for the second time in 24 hours. Given the circumstances, Tennessee played well. Vandy was cold. Though they made a furious comeback attempt, the PTBs ruled the last-second lay-up no good. Improbably, Tennessee advances, and Vandy's 0-for-tournament streak continues.

LSU are a one player team, which explains why they are not projected to be in the tournament.

Good win my A&M, I was worried Florida was going to win it, but then the scoring drought and the big guy fouling out didn't do anything but eliminate the Gators.

Michigan winning is bad for all bubble teams across the country, so that's not going in our favor.

I hope UT beats LSU, as UT's only chance to get to the tournament is to actually win the SEC tournament whereas LSU could creep back into the minds of the voters just because they have the best freshman in the NCAA.

Alabama tonight is likely to struggle. I NEVER feel good about the game coming up after you just played the best game this year. I do like that it seems like the teams that played yesterday are all playing well again today, so hopefully that continues with Alabama. Just keep it close Bama.

Roll Tide.
