3 straight prime time games for our Seattle Sounders!
For the first time in a long time the Sounders are fully rested and ready to take on their west coast rival the LA Galaxy.
At the moment the Galaxy are on the outside looking in and the Sounders hold a steady 6 point lead over everyone in the West. However, don't let the Galaxy's 7-4-6 record fool you into believing this will be a cake walk. For some reason the Galaxy have been prone to slow starts the past couple of years and then they pick it up part way through the season and go deep in the playoffs.
This year they started out 2-3-3 (8 pts) but have since gone 5-1-3 (18 pts). Another interesting stat is their goal difference. Despite being 6th in the West with 27 pts they are 2nd in goal difference (10) just one behind our goal difference (11) and we lead all of MLS with 38 total pts.
Outside of the Timber there isn't another team I enjoy beating more than the Galaxy.
Tomorrow is supposed to be 84 with clear skies. Here's to a beautiful Seattle night and hopefully another incredible sunset like we saw a couple Sundays ago, but most importantly a Sounders win!
