How dare you. Keep your hateful words to yourself, please.

I'm just saying, that if you are a Seahawk fan in one of those 44 states, then you should question your fandom. IF the Hawks don't want you there, then stay home, watch in comfort of own TV and save the inflated price.

You got a point there. There are plenty of Seahawks fans here in California. I've seen many around.

And here I thought you were claiming the Seahawks would lose, so save your money by watching it on TV. Much less painfull I thought you said.

No hate intended. I just think you like the attention. Also you sound like a hater.

How is that being a hater? Do you equate being logical and reasonable with hate?
He makes some good points fiscally and otherwise....and it has nothing to do with "liking attention".

Btw: he's a broncos fan, and is probably rooting for Seattle, knowing his team has a better shot at beating your team than they do in beating SF in the Superbowl, should that come to fruition.

Anyone who uses the word "hater" deserves to be ridiculed or to be never taken seriously.

Whats the issue here? If you want road playoff game tickets, you are going to have to pay a premium or be smarter than the average bear.

that leads me to this question.

Does the NFL want to/need to/should? do anything about the ticket bots? Im on the fence on this. The bots allow them to brag that their tickets sold out in 2 minutes. But at the same time, their product is being hiked up to 2-3 maybe even 4 times its face value. And most importantly they aren't seeing any of that profit./

I think it sucks, but thats just me.

anyway.

Problem is Ticketmaster doesn't give a ratsass. They could careless about the bots because they still collect their highway robbery per tix service fees no matter if bots or individuals buy them.

It's called "HOME FEILD ADVANTAGE" and a team works for it all year.

It's like sending a "jersey-uped" Bronco fan into the Raider Black Hole with the division up for a grabs on the final game day...nuttin but a feeding frenzy insues.:laugh3:

Ditto. While it would be nice to have that level of disposable income and see this game live, I'll pass on those prices and watch it with friends on a big screen HD.

Denver's apparently doing the same thing. This is going to be standard practice going forward. So let's either start bashing the Broncos as well or give this crap a rest. It's only the bots that get it anyway. Everyone else gets screwed.

Seattle local news will of course be flooded this evening with stories of pissed off fans unable to buy tickets, even when they got on ticketmaster at the sec it hit 10am.

But just like that, the bot buyers will have their 4 tixs already up on stubhub and all the other reseller sites by 10:05am with starting prices triple the face price or even higher.

That's just how it works these days.

Do season ticket holders get a crack at playoff tickets first in Seattle?

Since Denver is doing it too (yet without any of the feigned outrage that Seattle is getting) I wonder if it's a league decision.

I don't get the outrage over this. With the bots buying up 100% of the available tickets anyway there was ZERO chance anyone from Cali was going to get a primary ticket anyway. You were going to be buying off stubhub or venuekings anyway.

This did NOTHING to stop or slow down the number of SF fans coming up for the game. This is a phony scandal made up by a base simply looking for anything to pick on. PERIOD.

I haven't seen any NE fans outraged that the Broncos did the same thing.

My guess is they are looking at stopping foreign bots or at least making it so those companies have to have local addresses and accounts to do their business. Might help slow down fraud if they have legit US accounts. It simply can't have anything to do with trying to stop SF fans from coming up.
