He's played excellent and the last line of defense is the most important thing when all is set and done, that being said, the guys in front of him have been stellar too, they've won faceoffs and they've been sound defensively

I'm sure there is always some luck to certain things, but a GM as smart as Dean Lombardi, I wouldn't call that very lucky, that's just being smart and understanding what players are about - he's all about having a team that has players who have the "it" factor and understand what it takes to be successful on and off the ice - Ben Scrivens fits in great with this team, not just with his on-ice play but his personality off the ice and how it meshes with everyone else

It helps playing behind a team that knows how to defend. Bernier would probably have the same numbers if he was still there.
