Take that with a grain of salt.... It could be for all the right reasons if you think about it. He's young and has a lot of coaching in front of him. He probably understands that he needs to build his experience before taking that step, otherwise he might fail and blow his chance. There's no real reason he'd turn down Nebraska, otherwise.a lot of folks saying that SF doesn't even want the Nebraska job.
Grats to Scott.
I'll be interested to see who he fills his staff with.

"The fact that Frost is reportedly leaving such a coveted position to become the head coach of a winless football team is eye-opening to say the least, but it also says a lot about his confidence in his ability to turn the program around."
This, if it turns out well, would be a great step toward succeeding Riley. Not to mention, the southeastern recruits he will pull to Nebraska will be a plus if all goes well.

when I heard the news today --my thoughts went right to this ^^^Took this from an article....

Riley to be replaced in 2 years by a coach from UCFI honestly can't imagine why he wouldn't take a job here for millions.
If he proves himself at UCF and Riley isn't working out here we better be the first damned place offering him a good chunk of money.

I for some odd reason remember Ryan back in the dayFrost adds his first 2 assistants at UCF
Scott Frost adds two new assistants to UCF football staff
Troy Walters: Colorado Receivers Coach
Ryan Held: Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Head Coach
Ryan Held was a teammate of Frost @ Nebraska in 1995-1996 and played Split End. He was a GA at Nebraska when Frost was QB 1997.
Frost has also gotten his first recruiting commitment from Daytona Beach Mainland running back Adrian Killins Jr.
He is a 3* with P5 offers from Miami, Louisville, and West Virginia.
