Right now we're at 88... but according to Mike Riley we are at 85 for the fall so there are three that are moving on... my guess (no inside info) would be for these guys: Corey Whitaker, Mauro Bondi, David Sutton... would make the most sense. Maybe even Boaz Joseph. Here's some screen grabs that I have off of my computer.

O-Line and D-Line should always number one in recruiting, IMO you can never have enough on either side. I also like that MR talked about having 10 O-line guys who can play and it really doesn't matter who's playing. That was music to my ears finally we will have a HC who will have an emphasis on o-line.

Off to a really good start on the OL recruiting with very high 4-star John Raridon and another 4-star in Bryan Brokop committed... also have the in on 4-star (could be a 5-star when all is said and done) OT Matt Farniok (former teammate of Nate Gerry's) and I'm sure they'll take two more guys. You should always take a full class of both lines... 5 OL and 4 DL IMO.

What happened to afalava

transferred out after his RS-Fr year... couldn't handle the accountability and didn't like Bo yelling all the time. Looked at Hawaii, not sure if he ever went there. I don't know where he is now.

I love playing guessing games.

I have absolutely no knowledge of this whatsoever. The rumors swirling around about what the SEC is doing, over-signing and some other new shenanigans with over-signing(Tennessee), maybe no one transfers out. The Big Ten does not play by the SEC rules.

My guess, if any of this has any merit, is three out of this four

QB Stanton
Receiver Kevin Gladney
DE Freedom Akinmoladun (I thought he was a tight end)
DB Boaz Joseph

I really wanted Stanton to be given a shot. But I can completely understand him wanting to play. He was a hotshot California QB.

Gladney - has he even seen the field?

Freedom - I thought he would have been a beast of a tight end, but my memory could be failing me

Joseph - he has been passed by by other players, and Eric Lee is going to want some playing time.

i just want to know what the hell Bo was thinking with only 5 LBs, seriously, how do you think that's enough? weren't all 4 of the one's that committed this year after MR took over?

Why would Stanton transfer? He's about to be in an open quarterback competition with a new coaching staff that wanted him bad and recruited him hard at their last school...seems like pretty good odds.

Yeah, I highly doubt Stanton transfers... I don't think we lose any QBs (except for MAYBE Fyfe) this season. Next season one or two will move on though. Also, Freedom is in flux, could be a TE could be a DE... the new staff hasn't decided yet. I like him at DE and put him there. We have depth issues at both positions but Snyder is a more read-made TE prospect than either of the DE prospects are so I thought Matt might take his spot and Freedom move over to DE... that's complete guess work on my part though.

I thought Carter would have moved to LBer by now. But that was Becks system maybe we will use TEst and FBs in MRs offense

I just don't see Stanton moving on. At least not in the near future. I think of anybody on the roster he has the most to gain from this new staff. :noidea:

I have the same list you have Nut but I also have LB Jaevon Walton making 89

Lewis was not on ship last year... I'm assuming he will this year....

Walton enrolled in a JUCO in New Orleans, he will not be a Husker.

Didn't know that... I think he had a kid correct?? Makes sense to stay local and be a daddio

Yes he did... also, current staff wasn't too keen on him. Seems Bo was the only one really pushing for Walton to make it to Lincoln, the other players and assistants didn't think he had earned his keep.

Staff still looking at JUCO's for 2015 class.

HuskerOnline.com - Huskers still in the JUCO market for 2015

Banker said another priority in spring recruiting will be the 500-mile radius, as well as targeting prospects in cities where direct flights to Lincoln and Omaha are offered.

Love this overall philosophy. The closest blueblood program to that 500 mile radius would be Norman, Oklahoma which is just outside of it. 500 miles is maximum 7-8 hrs drive for parents who want to see their kids play or for the student to travel home on breaks. "Direct flights to Lincoln and Omaha" is thinking outside of the box. :thumb:
