Is that I am planning to look past Rodgers this year or any qb until round 6. Unless I don't draft Bell and could go for Wilson in 5. But he's not going to be there. I can say this, Brees, Luck are typically going in rounds 6. Brady in 7. But in my league I know that's not going to happen. QBs are prioritized in my league. I think if I'm lucky Romo will be there or Carr. And if not, I'm probably waiting on Rivers. I will not be touching Ryan, Flacco(unless as a backup because he does have the weapons this year), Taylor, Cutler, Dalton(unless as backup), Stafford, Bortles, Smith, TANNEHILL, Bridgewater, Eli, Fitz, Winston, or Cousins. And let's not even talk about the rest that are unproven or in qb controversies.

Now that said I am worried Rodgers is going to be undervalued and will be a steal for whoever gets him.

Those guys are going to have a ton of 20 point games. I like guys like you that make it easy for me to match them up week to week against weak ass defenses.

Seriously you are leaving like eighty 20 point games on the table there.

Not if drafting luck in round 7, or Rodgers in round 4, or brees in round 9:nono:

You can't take more than %50 of the replies in a Brees#1 thread seriously. .we've given him the same advice countless times, yet the same basic question with the same basic flaws keeps being presented....we assume the advice is never heeded, so he gets a bit of a hard time now

I just assumed Big Ben round 8 was the way to go. But then I thought he had a bye week and then could draft Palmer round 10, then follow up with rivers in 12??

Well some of these guys are injury prone. And some of them have tough matchups. And these guys are not consistent week to week with 20 points. Flacco's schedule is a little easier(if Dallas isn't healthy week 11) but I can see him struggling at some places. I have a limited choice of players because I am looking for the due process more than anything. The undervalued is also a big one. I just am not going to draft Taylor and Ryan when they play the NFC West. I have individual reasons for why I won't draft many of those players I mentioned. They do lack consistent 17+ performances also. And I am talking about six points for TDs here.

I will take Rivers because before Allen got hurt last year he was the top QB in the leaue and his production declined because of the injury. Now enter Benjamin and the reunion with Wiz+an easier schedule. Cousins you would think should have a big year, but it's that team he's on. They have been occupying that last place spot at least every other year in the division and the NFC East has been the most unpredictable division. That team has always had some crazy stuff happen to them. I have yet to look at QB game logs from last year but I have seen the ugly from those QBs and it's not something I want on my team. Also, I don't have room for two QBs.

First off, those guys will not be falling that low. In fact all of them will be gone except Rivers by round 6.

I remember when someone last year told a RB tandem of Ingram, Gore, Gurley, and Jones was solid. What? LOL yeah right. Then I went and added DWill, Allen, traded Gore for Lacy.

This whole notion that I plan certain players is wrong is rubbish. I am not just going to draft anybody. It has to be a player who has a history of past success(elite players ALWAYS bounce back), or someone who is in the right situation. That's my way of drafting. Also I draft players with first or higher round potential in later rounds(just based on the team situation and schemes). Players are underranked all the time because of a draft pick or injury or a underproductive history not factoring the circumstances. Yes I know that some players will fall lower than expected and get drafted sooner than expected. But I'm going to draft players with consistency over upside in earlier rounds and those with QBs I trust. That's why my choices are limited.

3 top 15 RB's is pretty solid, dunno what your laughing at unless it's yourself. .and Jones who? ? There hasn't been a Jones that would considered part of a "solid" foursome. .by the way, a foursome is a quartet, a tandem is a twosome, anyways, the last Jones to be relevant at RB was Thomas if I'm not mistaken.
Congrats on getting DWILL, but the credit goes to Bell for getting hurt/suspended and creating a worthwhile option for you to go get, and I honestly can't even tell if your looking for sympathy, credit, or trying to blame someone for going and getting Lacy and Allen, but I can promise you I sure wasnt someone who suggested any of that.

He's trying to say we're all wrong, and he's right. Basically.

Here's the scariest thing about a draft!!

Let's pretend I FORFEITED the first SIX rounds to my league mates last year.

Here's my team
Blake Bortles, Tyrod Taylor (Cam and Palmer also nice, but I'm making a point)
Freeman, Chris Johnson, David Johnson, Woodhead, Dion Lewis, Karlos Williams (and maybe I grabbed DWill)
Watkins, Robinson, Decker, Baldwin, Lockett,
Not Gronk or Olsen and will even take away Reed and Walker.... take your pick.
kicker
defense

.....so tell me why we need a strategy?
