Good to have 115 receptions last year signed and in the fold. He obviously knows how to g et open and catch the ball, when 69 of those catches were for 1st downs.

Consider the fact that he was the only legit option on that offense...teams doubled and tripled him...and he still caught 115 balls. The guy will be a weapon, that is for sure.

He's the next Ron Dugans.

Ron Dugans caught 116 balls in FIVE YEARS (injured in 97, I think it was and ended up getting medical red-shrt after just 3 games).

Sanu caught just about that many in one season. If you are going to hate on someone, you should find a more appropriate comparison.

You kids will never learn. Every year it's the same..."this guy is gonna be great blah blah blah."

No, he isn't. He plays for the Bengals. He's not going to be great. He's going to be bad. He's going to be really, really bad.

I'm not comfortable making predictions about a guy's NFL production from his numbers in college.... A lot of factors have obviously changed for the kid.

I also don't place much faith in rookie receivers - Some are good, but more times than not it takes a receiver a year or two to adjust to the NFL.

All that said..... I think AJ Green is an absolute beast. And I think the guy that gets to line up as the #2 receiver in our offense will have some nice opportunities as teams roll coverage to AJ. Let's see if anyone steps up.

Care to explain Green and Atkins then? Just curious man.

Anyone of Tate, Binns, Sanu will be better than Jerome Simpson...and really..that's not saying much because it shouldn't take much to add more versatility and stability to the #2 WR position. It's not like we are putting anyone in the HOF...we're just saying we think they should be better than the guy who wasn't very good last year....
