That call on Brown was iffy...Brown did skate toward him, but, the knee he hit hertl with was the trailing knee. Toffolis goal was awesome...Carter is the only other King that could have scored a goal like that.

Just got home and checked You Tube, heard about the ejection on the radio.

Looked to me like Brown was trying to avoid him more than anything. I would be extremely surprised if there is any supplementary discipline doled out and wouldn't be surprised to see the Game Misconduct rescinded and just a 5 minute major on the books. Brown needs to appeal this call - and players can - and I think it'll be reversed.

Shouldn't have even been a penalty, looked like two guys just surprised they were about to slam into each other and Brown tried not to.

Roman Jedlicka of Czech TV network TV Nova Sport reported on Friday morning that the 20-year-old could be out for a month. TSN Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie corroborated the report and added that Hertl's spell on the sidelines could last even longer than that.

Hertl sustained an apparent knee injury when he was hit knee-on-knee by Los Angeles Kings captain Dustin Brown in Thursday night's 4-1 loss. Brown was assessed a five-minute major on the play, as well as a game misconduct.
