Saints took a $9 million dollar cap hit to trade Graham. When all is said and done, they are still over the cap at the moment. And the SeaHags just got alot stronger.
I'm not sure this was a good deal for Hawks. Yes, they needed more offensive weapons for Russell Wilson to throw to. But giving up their #1 pick this year and a two-time Pro-Bowler in Max Unger, who's only 28, isn't worth it IMHO. Unger did get hurt this past season, but he played pretty well after getting healthy. Maybe the Hawks have someone to step in and replace Unger, but I'm not holding my breath on that.
I'm kind of still processing this. The Saints just gave away one of the best offensive weapons to a team that is labeled one-dimensional on offense.
In turn they received a 1st round pick and one of the best as of now "system" centers in the league.
This is the end of the Saints, and the Rise of the evil Seahawks.
I don't see how they don't automatically between 11-14 games.
It all really hinges on Marshawn. If he slips, Russell Wilson is only a game manager at this stage of his career. If he's asked to throw the ball to win, you'll be looking at a .500 team.
