The 24 season winning streak will pretty much be coming to an end with a loss to the recently hot Sabres tonight. Howard will need to be miraculous tonight simply due to our 'Swiss cheese' defense of late. Losing this one will require the teams in the Eastern Conference within 3 points or less to lose 2 of their remaining games, while the Wings will have to win all of their next 6.

The Sabres aren't exactly hot as in a playoff team should be having trouble with them.

They've been Sabres hot (won 5 of their last 10), but that's mostly been a slate of the NHL's biggest turds. Buffalo has proven they may be closer to the top of the turd pile than the bottom. Oh, we are rejoicing in Buffalo...

But Detroit should win this one.
