I'm So High Right Now
The Sabres (1-0-0) head to Toronto to take on the Maple Leafs (1-0-0). Who would have thought both teams would be undefeated in the Month of January?
The Leafs won their first game against the Habs 2-1, while the Sabres won their Home Opener against the Flyers 5-2. Both teams looking to make it 2 in a row, but the Sabres have lost 5 straight in Toronto going back to last Season.
The Sabres will be without Leino in the lineup once again, and they are looking for a better showing from rookie Mikhail Grigorenko, who became the fifth-youngest player to be on the team's opening roster. (Pierre Turgeon was the youngest (18 years, 41 days) in 1987.)
The Sabres will also be looking for Vanek to continue his hot streak, as he tallied 5 points in last night's game (2G, 3A), the first Sabres to do so since Stafford did it back in January 2008.
Here's hoping for a great game with no injuries.
LETS GO SABRES!!!!!!
