Sabres got off to a good start winning their first two games then dropping both games of a home and home series to the Canes.

Vanek is off to a great start with 3G 6A for 9 pts in four games. Pominville is close behind with 3G 5A for 8 pts in four games.

The Caps have yet to win a game and have only one point from an OT loss to the Devils. OV is off to a slow start and has only 1 assist on the season. They are due to break out soon.

I am not in Buffalo and I am at work with no NHL Network. We have basic time warner. I have Directv at home so I am covered there.
