Interesting that Grigorenko has the same agent as Tim Erixon...

As much as you want to blame Regier for mishandling Grigorenko, he is an enigmatic, entitled, lazy player and I think if Tim Murray can move him, you make a trade. Addition by subtraction.

Who would want him? If any team acquires Grigorenko the price tag better be cheap. This kid is likely to go to the KHL after his entry level deal is up.

It's a real shame. I think Grigorenko has talent but he is lazy and seems disinterested, how sad is it when a person has talent but too fucking stupid to take advantage of it. Dumb ass!!!

Okay dash what would you be willing to give up for Grigorenko from the Flames? I'd give up Brian Strait a Defenseman who's actually on the Isles roster, however I have no idea how he's their, but he is.

I wouldn't be willing to trade Baertschi from the Flames, but Brian Burke might...

If the Sabres could get Baertschi for Grigorenko I imagine they would do it immediately. I wouldn't give up any of the Isles top prospects for Grigorenko. Fortunately I don't think the Isles would be interested in him anyway. They only have one Russian player on the team & Garth has only drafted 2 Russian players since he's been the GM.

I obviously wouldn't give up anything incredibly valuable but I'd take a chance on him. Kid still arguably has the potential to be a #1 centre, and the only other way to get a #1 centre these days is pretty much coming in very close to last place (8 of the top 10 centres in the league in scoring were top 5 draft picks and 6 of them were drafted either 1st or 2nd. And Stamkos hasn't been playing but he's another #1 overall). And a #1 centre is something that you need to win. Probably won't work out, but the upside would be high enough for my tastes.

I don't think any team with a high pick is going to take the chance on him, in terms of giving up their pick for him, but a middling team like Dallas I think should make a run for him - with Big Val(a Russian) already there, I think him and Grigs would be a good combo and a buy low type of deal is something I could see Jim Nill doing

Pretty much exactly how I feel.

I don't think so, some of the words and the way it was worded makes it seem like it was himself
