This was from the far BLUE line not center ice, AWESOME! Good for you Ms Hewett !

59Year old Brenda Hewett whom has never held a hockey stick in her life makes a hole in one from the far blue line. the hole was the same size as the hockey puck. For making the hole in one she has won a brand new 2012 Ford F-150 from Frenchie's Ford in Massena, NY 13662

Funny comments from CBS Sportline writer...

Remember going to the fair when you were young and trying to impress your date by winning one of the virtually impossible carnival games? I have seen guys spend $20 at these shacks in an attempt to win an oversized stuffed animal that the date won't know what to do with.

Well the hockey giveways they have are even more impossible than those. Like that one where people shoot the puck from one blue line to the opposite goal and slide the puck through a hole about the exact same size as the puck. It's impossible, I tell ya. I don't even think NHL players could do it.

Wait, it did happen? OK, well it must have been by a guy who plays, right?

Try again.

In one of the more unbelievable fan games you will ever see, 59-year-old Brenda Hewlett, who never even had done so much as hold a hockey stick in her life, actually made the impossible possible. In the process, she also proved to me that contests like this are, indeed, possible to win. I always questioned whether that hole was even big enough for a puck. Anyway, watch and enjoy.

Not many, That hole insnt much bigger than the puck but you have me wondering. I wonder how many shots it would take for a pro to do it. I would say 40 or so, 34,864,973 if you're Drew Stafford.

I think most pros would have a better chance of breaking the piece of wood then put it in the hole even given 100 tries.

Not only was it amazing I bet that Ford dealer is crapping their pants now knowing they actually have to give away a Truck. They probably were like good there is no chance.

Then they had their Jackie Moon moment and tried to run away.

A lot of times when these types of shots are made the promoters will come up with some kind of technicality as to why they don't have to offer up the prize, but in this case I can't see any possible way for them to not give her the truck. She was behind the blue line the whole time, and the cone as well since that was probably the marker set down by the people running the promotion.

Hell of a shot for sure. If I attempted one blue line shot per day on that cardboard cutout it would probably take me months before I made one.

Honestly, I'm sure most could. As a goalie, I've beaten Shooter Tutors from my crease in drop-in, and as a skater, I've pegged the posts in three-bar from behind my goal-line pretty regularly.

Also, I bullseye womprats from my T-16 Skyhopper, and they're not much bigger than 2 meters.
