Saban to NFL?

I was going to ask about San Diego.

Saban didn't fail terribly at Miami, and given a good management he might be tempted to go. Because like was stated before 3 titles in 4 years in NCAA, he pretty much assures himself as one of the best if not the best college coach of recent time.

His ego could be itching for a SB title. Imagine, a coach with multiple college titles and a SB title. He would go down as the greatest ever.

The rumor is Saban to Cleveland......which I'll believe ONLY after he's actually been there a few years and I'm convinced it's not a hoax.

That dude isn't leaving Bama for a crap job like that, no matter what it pays. NOBODY willingly goes to Cleveland unless they have no other options.

I can believe Cleveland. He is a Kent st alum and coached at k
Kent st early in career. He is a Ohio guy, but other than that, it has to be a very demanding job or in the spotlight.

He also was a Defensive coordinator at Browns too.

When he took the Dolphins to the World Series

He went 9-7 w/ Mia, barely missed playoffs. I will take that!

That team wasnt that good either.

I think Saban can do well in the Nfl again. It has to be the right situation though. Saban reminds me a lot of Barry Switzer and he won mutiple NC's and a Super Bowl.
