Isn't this exactly what a portion of the fan base has been hoping for though?? The Skins in a no win situation as far as Cousins is concerned so that they are pretty much forced to deal him. So if he gets dealt, no one should be bitching when all we get is a 2nd and a 4th for him. And if we end up starting McCoy and going 7-9 people will feel justified in saying well Kirk wasnt a determining factor because we were able to win the same amount of games without him as we did with him. And in a short sighted we didnt really want him way, they will be correct.

Reality is, if Kirk leaves and we end up treading water.. we basically got worse on offense and likely improved a little on defense. Tomorrow should be very telling. If we come out guns a blazing and over bidding on guys, it will tell me that winning off the field is back in action.

If Kirk gets dealt to the Niners, within three years they will be a better team than the Skins I would think. Because it would likely mean we have basically pissed away the 2017 season before its even started, and will be setting the team up to make another block buster trade for a QB in 2018.
