It's time to cinch up the belts and play some determined defense for the home crowd. I'm afraid last season's bludgeoning of the Tiger and Royals to the tune of 18-20 - won't be repeated this season.

On the other hand - I think the Royals are starting a lefty and the Sox are currently 17-0 against lefties - one short of the MLB record. Go Sox.

Well damn. Outside of a freak event like a perfect game, that was basically as good as a starting pitcher can pitch. CG shutout 11 K no walks no XBH.

That was a big ol' win in more ways than one. Not just the dub itself, but for Lynn to give the pen a much needed break was critical. Now with tomorrow off, that's two days of rest for those guys, which is good because they may be called on early in the next game with Dylan making the start.

Sorry for the negativity, but despite a pretty damn good Spring, Dylan came out in his opening start in true 2019/2020 redux fashion. He's gotta prove he can bring it when the games actually matter.
