I have been out player biker boy all day so just seeing this. I love this kids feet. He reminds a bit of bell with his change of direction. It is more patient versus Barkley’s explosiveness.

Thrilled with the pick, hope it’s just smoke regarding unreported ‘incident(s)’ during college. Perhaps a disgruntled ex agent or individual with an axe to grind, as I’ve seen some surmise.

Former Eagles running back Brian Westbrook confirmed on local Philadelphia radio that he heard Guice got into “an argument” with Howie Roseman, the Eagles’ vice president of football operations.

“I’m not saying that he has any character issues, things like that. I’m just not sure that he was the guy with all the other stuff off the field that the Eagles wanted,” Westbrook said on air, adding that Guice has “a strong personality.”

“I just don’t think that they had the best interview with him,” Westbrook said. “I think he got into a little bit of an argument with Howie and quite possibly [assistant head coach/running backs coach] Duce [Staley] as well. I don’t know that they all saw eye-to-eye.”

The 5-foot-10, 212-pounder, however, denied the concerns about his character. “It did surprise me,” Guice said of falling to No. 59, “because a lot of the things came out of nowhere and weren’t true. And I just didn’t understand why me out of all people because I’m great to everybody, I have a great personality and I just didn’t understand why everything just hit so hard with me out of everybody.”
