Seems to be an all too common theme over the last 10-15 years, Snake Eyes. We have this corporate need to find projects and players who bodies are injured and shot and try to reclaim them over a period of years and hope they somehow blossom into blue-chippers all-the-while passing on better players in the draft and FA. Don't know why, but it is definitely a pattern. Most recent: Barrett Jones, Gurley, Pead, Quick, Chase Reynolds, Brandon Washington, Steven Baker, Scott Wells, Demetrius Rhaney, and now Isaiah Battle.
