Roster cut down to 36

Kings made the second round of cuts today. Sending some back to juniors and some to Manchester.

I don't see how any of these guys make the team to begin the season. As it is Toffoli and Pearson may get set done to protect other players until a trade is made. Many of these players are hoping for call up later in the season.

I like that Jordan Weal, doubt if he makes the Kings because of their center depth, but I see a lot of upsides to his game.

Another player I like is Andy Andreoff. Monarchs will have some good talent. If injuries were to plague the Kings, I could see them handling just fine. Not saying the Monarchs are loaded with talent, but the top end talent is pretty strong for an AHL club.

Something needs to be done about Andreoff during training camp. If I recall, he has to go through waivers if he doesnt make the team out of TC

Three people can sit in the press box.
Cracknell might slip through if sent down, but it is a risk. I think anyone else would get claimed.
So unless the Kings make a trade 2/3 of that 70s line might be in Manchester on opening day.

Kind of nice to have these types of hard decisions to make for a change. Sad for the guys who get waived or sent to the AHL but it does show just how deep our team is.

Laguna, i may have to eat crow on this but I can't see any way you send down two extremely talented skilled forwards who excelled during the pressure of playoff hockey rather than let them play a full year with Carter.
I realize that means Richards/Stoll issue for 3rd line center but few teams could match our top two lines of Gaborik-Kopitar-Brown, Pearson-Carter-Toffoli. Should be interesting to see what happens. That's why Sutter and Lombardi are in charge and not me--thank heavens.

I never thought the Kings would ever be in position to be TOO talented and deep. This is fun!

I don't think the Kings want to send those guys down.
I also don't think they want to lose two guys to waivers.
Now I have Clifford and Nolan in the line up, but mostly as place holders. Either one of them could be waved or more likely traded. That is my guess as two what happens. Cracknell they gamble on clearing and then trade Nolan ( or Clifford) for a pick/prospect or anything more than nothing.
