Anyone else see the fact that the special teams and LB play have been horrible under him? He's also the recruiting coordinator. I know it's gotten better recently but I don't know how much credit he deserves for that.

With 3 home games left, we have 45 possible OV's to bring kids in for, meaning we've used 10 so far. We started the year with about 75 kids on ships before we gave the rest to walkons, USC is on extreme probation right now with a 75 ship limit. Better?

This is how I felt during the game yesterday.

I made a comment about how Nebraska actually returned a punt during the game, making that two for the season, and all the Nebraska fans around me starting laughing and commenting, "How true."

Yeah and the more I think about it the more pissed off I am. Our standard is now lowered to "holy shit he didn't fumble!, hurrah!"

They need to give special teams to Ron Brown like they were originally going to. It absolutely cannot get any worse. Might as well give the toughest and most seasoned coach on this team a shot at improving them.

All he's ever done is be one of the best coaches if we look at his guys performances. Whether WR, TE or now RB.

Moved up in coaching for more money by being defensive coordinator at Indiana the last two years.

I've been calling our Punt Return game a joke for over a year. We don't try to block and we don't try and return, we might as well not even put a return man back there. I think our biggest problem is that we never try and block the kick, thus teams don't even bother trying to protect their punter. Why don't we occassionally send 5 guys right up the gut and see if they can get there. or some fast guys off the edge, it's not like you have to worry about a fake all the time, but that's why you don't send everyone, some guys play safety specifically looking for the fake.
