Lots of memories from childhood through this year.

I will never forget many many many memories there but the last one I will remember more than any. The last game of this year's CWS. I wouldn't leave the stadium until the security kicked me out and stood in front of the stadium for at least an hour after that. Didn't leave the parking lot until 2:00am and only left then because I had to get up at 5:00am for work. I am going to the last UFL of the season on November 19th which will be the last ever game at Rosenblatt. It is a friday so I will stay there for a REALLY long time.

I remember back in the 70's my mom giving my older brother and I enough money to get into the CWS and Royals games and get a snowcone/popcorn whatever when we were kids. Back then a 10 and 8 y/o could walk from 20th and Vinton down to the stadium alone no problems.

My last CWS game was the 1st championship game this year. My sister got the ticks for the second game..

On the news they said there is a sold out crowd for tonights Royals game. 20,000+

Lot's of folks saying goodbye.

I used to be a vendor there when I was a teenager in the 80's. I loved the stadium, the die-hard Royals fans, even the CWS back then was a totally awesome experience. I'll really miss it - wish I could be there.
