Again, two stacked lineups. One team has Mays in the 3 hole, the other has Gehrig hitting cleanup, good players around both. Both rotations are evenly matched as well, I mean, Carlton vs Spahn, Sutton vs Palmer, probably a split. Blue vs the underrated Pierce. Just toss ups. The benches are close as are the pens.

Jerry Koosman was a lefty, for that reason alone I vote for Nos 2

Seriously though, I believe Nos 2 is better everywhere especially the Bullpen although I can understand if someone thinks 500's lineup is better although IMO it's not, Ripken grounding into double plays eliminates Minnie getting on base leaving the bases empty for Willie.

Nos 2 in a close one...

The rotations are close but I like the fact that my guys are more able to strike your players out but his rotation is very good...

Terribly disagree criticizing Cal in the 2 spot when you have a .661 OPS and a .330 OBP player batting second. Second is sabermetrically the most important spot in the lineup Whitaker or Lansford are much better hitters and would be better served hitting second. 500
