Both Rollins and Utley have stepped up their game. Rollins has learned to be more patient at the plate and is getting on base more. Utley is proving what he can do when his legs are healthy. A pleasant surprise would be an understatement! Now if we could only improve in left field this team could win more games!

Just hope this team has enough gas left in tank come July/August. Their age may have them running out before then. Otherwise, Phillies can compete for that Wildcard.

Not their age but their health. Utley is taking better care of himself this year. Rollins is playing for a contract to kick in. I hope they keep playing well all year. But we will need some young guys to step it up too!

It's hard to stay bullish on the Phillies, northeast. I really expected Brown to be pounding the fences by now. We can squeeze by with Howard's low average but with both anemic hitters surrounding Byrd, the lineup is punchless. Here's a wild solution - send Brown down to find his swing and call up Cameron Perkins, .339 so far in AA and .295 last year in A ball. Yo Ryno!

Amaro is gutless! Will not happen.
