Yeah they are the exception not the rule when it comes to pastors and pay. The church I work for does pay me decently compared to some churches. I still get some side work to help out though such as coaching golf, EMT, Firefighter. Some of the reason I do those things is to help out money wise for my family especially after my wife went down to part time work after we had our first kid.

I guess I just need to get started on my first best selling book like those 2 have done. So if you don't see me on here for a few months that is what I am doing.
