Wife and I enjoyed it. Not a masterpiece, but it is what you expect from a movie like Roadhouse.

Just don’t go in expecting any kind of legit plot, and you will be fine.. It is mindless “entertainment” for 90 mins. Feel free to browse your iPad or do house work while you watch. It is perfectly good background noise. Just don’t expect more than that.

I thought it was pretty good. On par with the original. Knowing Hollywood, it is absolutely set up for a run of sequels if they want it. Felt like Original Roadhouse and Reacher had a baby.

I agree. I gave the it a try. Sure, it's a remake, so it's not gonna be as good as the original, but this was just...meh. Though I'll add that Connor didn't do too badly for a first role.

Kinda in the same vein of how they remade Top Gun & other reboot movies these days... Just rinse & repeating the same plot to make it 'like new' again.

Agreed. The original is well respected, but I don't get the praise. I thought this one was fun and Connor is an absolute cartoon character, lol.
