Redskins OLB Ryan Kerrigan suffered a sprained elbow Week 4 against the Browns.

Kerrigan is believed to be day-to-day after an MRI on Monday showed the injury was not serious. He has a chance to play this week.

I remember when I warned that RK is not a lead dog type of player. Last year the excuse was nagging injuries and it seems that now that those injuries are not there, neither is the production that many expected. Don't get me wrong, he is a decent piece on a defensive team that would welcome decent pieces. What this defense lacks are players who, if not for careers in the NFL, would be working on chain gangs in Louisiana's Angola, Mississippi's Walnut Grove or Texas's Huntsville prisons for blotting out the sun. We've got enough nice guys on this team, but what we really need are monsters who at the line of scrimmage stares down offensive linemen and ask "What the F**K you lookin' at lil MF'er? With them,RK would have 40 sacks already!!
