This is what they played tonight at the first game in Stompin Tom's hometown (or at least his city of birth) since his death. Funny thing is, so many people here had no idea that Stompin' Tom was born here before this week.

Here's a story about Stompin' Tom that my friend Greg shared on Facebook this week. Greg's business has allowed him to meet many famous people, from Prince to the Trailer Park Boys, to Sidney Crosby, to the Foo Fighters etc. One of the famous people he met was Stompin' Tom 1 night at a festival. They drank all night and shared lots of jokes and laughs. Stompin' Tom was very drunk and ready to retire to his hotel room. Just as he was about to leave he turned abound to Greg and said "Greg, of all the people I met here tonight......(dramatic pause)........you were 1 of them!"
