Probably would have never been known if Judge Keight not said anything.

Illitch was a great owner and a fantastic human being.

I would also say he has a great sense of humor if his will demanded his coffin was a long piece of cardboard wrapped in a paper sleeve.

There are owners, and we know who they are in every sport, who's number one priority is making money. Mike Illitch wasn't one of them. He was the kind of owner every fan wanted to own their favorite sports teams. A sad day for his family, friends, and millions of devoted fans from 2 fan bases. It's a sad day for sports. R.I.P.
