I saw this interview with him recently, it's great. Especially cool how he talks about the engineering he did on the guitars/amps himself. Also talked about jamming with his family as the most important thing to him. Man, does this suck to hear. I wore VH 1 and VH 2 cassettes out.

I was sitting by my stereo with two fingers on the record button waiting to swipe a Van Halen song off the radio and onto a cassette.
