Likely best known as the father of Marty Brodeur, but he was the official photographer for the Habs and took photos for the Expos, Alouettes etc.

The elder Brodeur was a solid goaltender in his own right, backstopping Canada win a bronze medal at the 1956 Olympic Winter Games in Cortina D'Ampezzo, Italy.

Hockey photographer Denis Brodeur passes away at 82

Sad.

The man's contribution to the hockey world should not be understated.

I knew him as a photographer, but didn't know he was an Olympic caliber goalie. RIP
