DeAngelo Hall ruptured his Achilles tendon during last Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, and he was placed on injured reserve. The team signed Chase Minnifield from the practice squad for depth. The starting cornerbacks in Thursday's game against the Giants were 2nd year CB David Amerson and rookie Bashaud Breeland. Breeland was replaced by Tracy Porter during the game, and E.J.Biggers has been handling the slot cornerback role. Tracy Porter played for the first game of his Redskins career after missing over a month of playing/practice time with a hamstring injury, and was reportedly sore after the game. The Redskins have a lot of inexperience and question marks at the CB position. We'll see what role Richard Crawford will play on this team.
