Kind of wondering where some of the names from years passed are? It feels like the same 8-10 guys post here now and that's it, where's Heathbar, SF11704, even Moxie, etc? It'd be more fun with those folks around.

I feel so jinxy lately
Went to one Braves game then one Pirates game. I'm trying to shake off the bad juju.

I gotta come around more often though, you're right. Our GDT are usually much more lively. I'll do my part.

You should have seen the GDTs when we first got here. We would hit 300-400 posts on the reg. And we had some OUTSTANDING posters.

Colin, Heath, GP, Tidrow, filo, 3 or 4 "SF" handles that I was never able to keep straight (sorry guys)...

Now those were the days.

There's a big difference between quantity and quality of posts (not posters necessarily), IF you know what I mean.

I admit to being a bit lax here, but a lot of things have been going on.

I have never dug too deep into that thing, but I believe it is pretty much a two-way-street. I am not sure Filo would come back, even if he were un-banned.

I do not want to make this thread a butch session, so I don't want to focus on this, but we lost AT LEAST 3 solid posters when the ownership change took place (two to bans, one to just walking away).

I would love to participate in GDT, but I frankly can rarely watch a live Giants game anymore. Been that way the last couple seasons. Hopefully that can change here soon.

Soooo, I try to contribute in other ways like keeping up with prospects.
