I would have liked to have had him back as I thought he was always underrated (before last year when his INTs caught a lot of attention). But I get what we're doing here.
Nice move, I really liked their off-season in Oakland. Good players picked up, the only truly monster deal was for a left tackle which is a lower risk position to take a shot at. And their secondary really could use some veteran talent.
Good signing for them, but I'm kind of glad the Bengals didn't go overboard trying to get him back. The guy has been solid, but Williams flashed in his time on the field. He's younger, and is more a part of the team going forward.
Sometimes, you just have to make these kinds of decisions on really good players who have been with the team for a while.
