From what I read from the senior bowl and draft experts these two guys should be there when we pick at #21. If Pot Roast does not come back which I think might happen b/c of money these two guys should be high on the list for pick #21.

Also, Rankins, Nske, and Dodd look like late first round picks as well. We are going to have a lot of choices with these guys at pick #21. I don't believe all of these guys will be gone before #21. Im leaning toward Pot Roast, Hatcher, Goldsten, and Kearse not being back with the team this year so DL becomes a huge hole for our team.

the defensive line talent is so insane this year that we should not spend a lot of money in FA to get one. Plus we should be looking to trade down from pick #21 b/c the talent pool is so deep this year. Their are 15 DL\3-4 De prospects in this years draft that would help our team. WOW!! 5 out of those 15 probably will be gone before pick #21.

I disagree they will sign Pot Roast back no way we start over from scratch losing him to free agency and Jason Hatcher to retirement

scratch? If we draft a dlieman at #21 we still will have Baker, Paea, RJF, and the rookie. Pot Roast did not have the impact like I thought he would this year. He is going to want 5-6 mil per season. I would rather have Billings or Reed and put that money elsewhere like extending Reed.

One of the DL prospects will be there at #21. You really think there is going to be a big market for Pot Roast? There wasn't last year. So we can actually wait until after the draft to see what his situation is.

you can't say that we have no clue how the draft is going to unfold for all we know they could all be gone before our pick

Baker could always play NT if we draft someone like Nske or Rankins.

I really don't know too much of the draft prospects this year, but, FWIW, Mike Mayock said that d-line is really deep and that there'd be some great talent in the second round and more talent that would get pushed down to later rounds. But he stressed that really liked the players that would be available in the second round.

And guess who doesn't have a second round pick? Philly, who traded away that pick (and Nick Foles) to get Sam Bradford.
