Redwings VS Sharks Game 7 - May 12 GDT

The best part is once the game starts all that means absolutely nothing.

probably overrated in the time prior to the game but underrated during the game.

you can't tell me it meant nothing in game 6 when the wings went down 1-0 after outplaying the sharks or that it meant nothing in game 5 when the sharks outplayed the wings and went up 3-1. the wings never panicked because they've been there and done that, so to speak.

having said that, one thing they have never done is come back from 3-0 in a series.


but seriously, what the fuck difference does it make what i think. so fuck it. fuck the analysis, fuck the predictions, fuck the psychology, fuck the history of the last 80 years and fuck the history of the last few years.

fuck it all. in ~5 hours time, the puck will drop, shit will happen, goals will be scored, players will be brilliant, and players will suck donkeyshit, and one team will move on and one will go home. so there it is.

hopefully, i will be drunk.

i remember in 08 during the finals, there was a nasty thunderstorm that came through as i was trying to drive to my brothers house (he is also a wings fan), couldn't see more than a few feet in front of me, nasty wind throwing the car all over the place, pitch black/green, nearly got hit by a fuckin tree falling across the fuckin road. just made it in time for the puck drop.

that was a fuckin crazy day, wings won.
