I agree that it wasn't exactly a baseless comment. I was just surprised that he would say that seeing as how the 2 were teammates for 2 years not very long ago. Although teammates =/= friends, at least not all the time. My guess is they are friends though but JR was simply calling a spade a spade.

One last thing... the people on our board know that I'm the biggest Marleau fan there is but agree with the rest of you (and JR). He's a complete waste out there. He's been getting it done on the PK and defensively 5-on-5 but tonight, even that went away and he was just mostly a spectator out there. Complete detriment to his team every time he was on the ice.
This game is payback for Game 3, eh? The Sharks had no business winning that one and The Sharks dominated good enough for the first two periods to "deserve" this one, but yeah, completely got it taken to them the entire 3rd...

Unreal game. I'm not sure how much longer Lidstrom, Datsyuk, and Zetterberg can drag the rest of the boys up and down the ice, but as long as they keep winning I don't care. Datsyuk needs his own NHL award. The Dangle Dangle Award, given to the player adjudged to have demonstrated and excelled in the most badassery throughout the regular season and playoffs.

So I will say this: That was not a gutless pissant dive, and I have NOT seen better acting on public access TV. That did NOT remind me of Mike Ribiero's cowardice, and I am not at all concerned about your testosterone levels. Cammi Granato's junk is NOT twice the size of your own.
