I really didn't agree with you some months back, but i guess you are right.
Just based on the desperation we've seen in the past, I think Tribusky, Watson & Kizer will go way earlier than the experts rank or project them to. So, if a disaster happens here... I don't know what we will do at #17 but we will take a QB at #2

Anybody seen Paxton Lynch play? How would you rate him vs. the top 3 QBs of 2017?

I'd put Lynch behind the top 4 guys in this class.

I'd go
1. Mahomes
2. Kizer
3. Trubisky
4. Watson
5. Wentz
6. Goff
7. Lynch

If you combine the last 2 classes

So you're ranking Mahommes over Lynch? hmmm, if others feel like you, I'm guessing 3 Qbs go in the first.

So, we're essentially adding Pryor, Quick, and Doctson - all at least 6'2 215 - all bigger than both Jackson and Garcon. And we have 3 receiving TE's. Won't we always have a miss-match or 2? And Crowder's always going to have a slot DB covering him. The passing game should be significantly better in the red zone - and at least as good elsewhere.

It'll be interesting to see how he does when he's not in Jeff Fisher's 1970's offense.

Nobody is going to believe this but I actually met Brian here in STL. This isn't a banannaman story I swear.

We moved here a few years ago and we were eating at a Chinese Buffet our first night here. I was in line at the hibachi grill and Brian and I were in line waiting for the food to cook. I struck up a conversation with him as the food was taking some time to get done. I asked him if this was a good place to eat and he said it was his first time eating there. I told him we had literally moved that day and he asked me what I did and I told him we had just moved here for a new job. I asked him what he did and he humbly said he played for the Rams. I asked him who he was and he said "My name is Brian Quick and I play Receiver". I asked him if he went to Appalachian State and he smiled and said "yes". I told him I wished the Redskins would have drafted him and he laughed. He welcomed me to STL, said "good luck" and went to sit with his family.

He was a very humble guy and you never guessed he was a football player. He was eating at a cheap buffet and asked me what I did for a living and welcomed me to town. Kinda cool that we signed him to be honest.

I actually thought about this for some time, and have concluded that with the pick at #17, we're going RB. If team's are forced to honor our run game, this group of pass catchers becomes lethal. Even more so if said RB can stay in on 3rd downs. We will see!!

That is cool. I have had a chance to get to know a number of current or former pros, most are humble and nice.

Truth be told, I'd be real excited to see this offense with an outstanding RB, but my brain says we absolutely have to use that 1st round pick on a defensive player.
