If the Pirates lose this game, it's completely on Hurdle. There was absolutely no reason to lift Wandy. He was pitching great. Even though there were two men on, it was on Holt more than him. You let your veteran get out of that inning.

Why in the world did Clement have anything but a hard and fast red light on a 3-0 count with two outs in the 8th inning? We needed baserunners. He's a terrible hitter. Red light, no exceptions.

he lifted wandy, who was pitching well and still had 15-20 pitches to go.
also, hurdle brought in a righty to throw to the lefty when he had a lefty who was on and has been on a roll the last several games.

we should be asleep with a great win on hte road.
