I'm having a bit of trouble trying to watch this one with only one eye open, since it was quite late after seeing the replay of last night's game. Had the late shift at practice and this one is like watching an old movie with the film spliced, but several minute segments missing here and there. Anybody have any toothpicks handy?

Things are getting rather bush league when we see a call like that to any player for taking his hand off his stick without holding or impeding a player, but rather pushing his arm. Don't players use their outstretched arms when checking a player when not holding their stick? How many times do we see any of them called for a penalty when doing that. The call was holding, but, if there was holding, the progress of that Flames player wasn't impeded. Hand off the stick; what a bunch of crap that is. This league has gone soft with that kind of shit.
