This recruiting class may be one that shuts up the crowd who feels WVU will not be able to get top local talent because of its membership in the Big 12.

See but the recruiting class last year was rated 3rd best by rivals in the B12. It's not as if we are incapable of getting good recruits.

We need to concentrate on our roots, we need to recruit Pa, Va, and Ohio well but we must get our bread and butter from Florida. That is where we make our mark.

The key to our success imo will be how well we recruit the lines on both sides, We can go toe to toe with just about anybody as far as skill positions but we tend to have to rely on development a lil more up front. Nothing wrong with that but....patience can be a *#@**!

That is one of the things that DOES give me hope, that after throwing out everything that was WVU football, Luck and Holgorsen hired some coaches with WVU ties and realized that WVU had to keep a presence in the WPA and EOH areas. WVU gets a lot of the skill players from from Florida, but the depth and the hosses include a ton of these kids from within a couple hundred miles. Holgorsen is learning, but will it be fast enough to turn the team around? Will this coaching staff be able to develop these kids into good ball players?

Read last night they expect JUCO CB Keishawn Richardson to sign today… he gave a late commit to WVU last night. He was down to WVU and Wisky. This was a pretty good get for WVU. Had offers from ASU, ISU

Also, Skylar Howard QB from Riverside and Sylvester Townes…OL who had offers from UF and UK will be signing today.

All of these signees will be starting school in January 2014. Which is nice…

They love his coverage skills and retuner possibilities...tape he looks a bit small, but plays big. Needs to work on run support, should be able to fix that since he seems like a solid tackler.

If he can become a shut down CB, this should open up more blitz packages for us.....so tired of seeing the same guy blitz everydown. CB could end up being a strong position for us going into next year if these guys pan out.

WVU is curently ranked 35th as far as a class. Still trying to figure out who is leaving and who is staying...at 19 some players will not be back.

Rumor mill says another signee is close to inking with WVU, could not find a name it was from one of the paid sites. I love WVU football, but not that much...lol

All true and a couple of million dollar questions. The recruiting is going well, now if they can keep guys on staff and that staff develops the kids.... I think we are good long term.

My hope is that we can do what Mizz & Auburn did - they had a very down year and no bowl game last year and they were on fire this year. HOPE that is us !! We start benefiting from our good recruiting classes and the win the Big12 in a couple of year.
