Billingsley is placed on the 15 day DL again with a right shoulder problem. Buchanan suffers severe leg injury at Lehigh Valley and had to be carted off the field. Looks like Severino Gonzaez will be called up to fill in. However there are other options since Aumont is resurging as a starter at Lehigh Valley. Also this would be a good opportunity to give Nola a big league start!

Instead of creating a new thread, figured id put it here

but im beginning to think Jesse Biddle is a lost cause. I know hes still just 24, but wow the kid just has ZERO control. One step forward, 10 steps back with that guy. Turning into just an absolute bust of a 1st round pick

especially when you consider these pitchers were taken AFTER him:

Zach Lee
Aaron Sanchez
Taijuan Walker
Jimmy Nelson (2nd r)

and the best of the bunch

Actually I think poor control is a mental problem. There are some pitchers who throw hard and have a good
breaking ball but they issue too many walks and also get their poor locations pounded for the long ball. We
have a left handed reliever called Diekman who fits that description.
