Locks - Edelman, Amendola, Chris Hogan, Malcom Mitchell, (Matthew Slater as ST ace)
On the bubble - Dobson, DeAndre Carter, Nate Washington, Keshawn Martin, Chris Harper, Devin Lucien

Lucien has very good hands and is PS eligible
Dobson disappears after brief good showing in preseason
Deandre Carter could land on ST's and is PS eligible
Keshawn Martin has played well but not exceptional
Chris Harper "made the team" in preseason but could not find a roster spot. is ST's eligble
Nate Washington a veteran presence in camp?
DJ Foster has no chance other than ST's

Who would you pick if you could just pick one?
If I had 2 I'd pick Harper and Lucien - subject to good camp and preseason.....

You said if we could only have one yet you picked two:scratch:
So to keep it fair I'm taking two,
Lucien appears to have the most potential.
Martin I really like what he did in limited action.
NE is in a good place with regard to receivers.
Time to cut the losses with Dobson.

I could not pick one. I'd hide one on the practice squad if I could not keep 2.
Fortunately, we don't have to cut anybody yet.
Even Dobson could turn out to be - nah, forget Dobson. It really scares me that he is going to have a great camp and preseason and cost Harper a spot - again!

Could be? Or worse he goes somewhere else and reaches his potential.

Dobson is gone. He's had three years to reach his potential but just can't stay on the field.....even for a whole game. The guy can't take a hit. I just watched last year's game against the Giants and Dobson had two catches. Neither was spectacular but he got knocked out of bounds after the second catch and was done for the day.

Washington has lost a step and was signed as a 'just in case' guy.

Harper had one really outstanding preseason game but hasn't come close since. I can't see him making it past the first cut.

Keyshawn Martin is an enigma. He seems to be there at special times and in the Canteen serving hot dogs and beer at others. He'll make the tough catch and just miss the easy ones. He won't be here week 1.

Devin Lucien seems to have all of the tools. Edelman is hitting the magic 30's and Lucien might just be his replacement in two years.

Carter could be the surprise of camp and be the 5th WR on the field to start the season when Brady or JG decide to spread it.

Ok I am just getting that^ in before someone else does.:noidea:

Really though, it doesn't seem to matter who the receivers in NE are for almost 2 decades. The Pats will be good and likely make the AFCCC as usual.

Pittsburgh sucks - but they are probably going to win in that weak division.

The Pittsburgh defense does suck but the AFCN isn't weak because they all have to play in Cleveland at least once every season and that can really fuck with your head seeing so many "people" live in such conditions.

Nate Washington could have a great year as a deep threat. Definitely should help stretch the field.

You need some size out there. SO it prob comes down to Dobson, Wash, Martin with Dobson getting the 1st look. He is more talented that the rest. I think Lucien gets put on the PS. Don't forget that BB extended Martin last yr and we traded a pick for him. Not sure he is the 1st to go.

Foster will challenge for one of the RB spots. He could push Brown, White, Bolden off this team. He can play ST also, would be nice as a KR.
