To be fair, there were a couple of games that were lost due to some bad luck and bounces. Last year, this team found ways to win these types of games. This year, its the opposite.

Hope this team plays a strong road game tonight and gets the W. Remember in the past, road trips were a blessing for the Devils

Up here Bill Waters and Pierre Mcguire were saying that it isn't John Mac's fault with the current situation of the devils. They take it to mismanagement, meaning Captain Lou.
We're stuck, can't make many changes since we're over the cap and need rustle down that first. They even mentioned that the Devils current defence is not one that is capable of winning a cup. Given their current performances anyone can make that assumption.
I know this is probably different than what is heard down in Jersey but it is all the hockey talk I can listen to on the radio up here. Of course I get other view points from the crew here.
FYI they also said that the Devils is the team that needs a Kaberle but have no way of fitting him in given our cap situation. I think so to as we need a good puck moving D. None of our current group is as good as Kaberle.

Great point mb. I think what has started to get lost in this mess is the whole roster/cap situation. I know no one has forgotten it, however all I see is blame going back and forth between the players and the coaches. But don't forget where this garbage started.

i agree the cap situation is a huge problem...but lets be real here these players arent playing for maclean..going into this season no one would have any problems without rolston on this roster...your telling me though that volchenkov and salvador are that huge? volchenkov yeah but not salvador.

They were playing for him in the preseason. And yes, I am aware it was the preseason, but they looked completely different. You are telling me at some point in the last 3 weeks they decided to hang it up?
