People who actually know Bo seem to absolutely love the guy.

I seriously believe the disconnect that Bo has created between himself and the media has hurt our perception of the way he is.....and I think that ultimately hurts the team. The players hear of that stuff and they end up feeling like the fans don't have their backs and shit.

This is the reason why he is opening up practices to the media and all that.

Bo has been quite loose over the past couple of seasons.

He doesn't want recruiting to take a hit because the media makes him out to be a monster.

The whole problem is before Bo even came here he was perceived as this guy who would destroy all forms of being on this planet.

In 2008 I remember hearing the ad on 1110 (supposed to be funny)......"When the boogie man goes to sleep at night.....he checks under the bed for BO PELINIIIIII...."

I think Bo is right. It's easy to pile on a guy when he has that kind of perception.......and then as we all continue to pile on the guy, he gets more frustrated and ends up swinging his cap at a referee on National TV.

When you think back to it, in the past 2 years Bo never really broke in front of the public until that point. I think there was a lot of frustration built up behind that, and I don't deny that I as a fan am part of the reason for it.

I honestly think Bo does these things for one reason. I don't think it's recruiting, I don't think it's the media, I think it's because he has people around him who are telling him it's okay to be himself and relax.
