12 team league 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 2 DB, 2 DL, 2 LB, and 1 K. RUSH/REC TDs are 6, Passing TDs are 5, and return/defensive tds are 10. Snake draft and I selected 3rd.

I did this draft a little differently than my previous two. Usually in the first 5 picks I went RB,RB, WR/TE, WR/TE, and QB. This year (because I didn't feel like I drafted well in those drafts) I went with RB, WR, QB, TE, and RB

  1. LeSean McCoy
  2. Demaryious Thomas
  3. Peyton Manning
  4. Tony Gonzalez
  5. Darren McFadden
  6. TY Hilton
  7. Tavon Auston
  8. Aldon Smith
  9. Cameron Wake
  10. Richard Sherman
  11. Owen Daniels
  12. Joe Flacco
  13. Vincent Brown
  14. Luke Kuechly
  15. Cameron Jordan
  16. Pierre Thomas
  17. Tim Jennings
  18. Brian Hartline
  19. Von Miller
  20. Geno Atkins
  21. Thomas Decoud
  22. Shaun Suisham

12 team league has better receivers.

14 team league you'll be looking for consistency somewhere (I don't like Wallace as a #1)

I think in both leagues, you could have stayed away from Owen Daniels since you already had stud TE's.

If nobody gets hurt, you could be in good shape, if any RB gets hurt on either team, you're toast.

I think you did Ok in the 12 team league, but depth will be an issue there for sure. I am as big on Jordan Cameron as anybody, but there is absolutely no reason to own 3 TEs in any league. Really, there is no reason to own more than 1 unless you have Gronk.

As for the 14 teamer, I just can't see you finishing any higher than 6th or 7th if everything goes right. You have no RB depth and none of your players have any real breakout potential. It is true that Rice, Gore, Ryan and Witten are "safe" picks, but where is the upside? Witten in the third round is a major reach and 3 TEs again? IMO, this team is more likely to finish in the bottom 3 than it is to make the playoffs.

None of your WRs are sure bets to be WR2s, let alone WR1s. Wallace and Moore will both have some big games, but they will post a lot of duds too.

You still have time to recover in the 12 team league because you have some high upside players. If I were you, I would trade/drop some of your depth at 1 starter positions like QB and TE and grab 2 or 3 RBs from the free agent list. Also, you can do better than Suisham as a kicker option. He is a mediocre talent kicking for a below average offense.

Lance Moore last year as the 3rd WR on the Saints had over 1,000 yards and 6 TDs. He will put up similar numbers this year as the #2 WR especially since Colston is injury prone.

I will drop one of my TE in exchange for an RB

My reason for picking 2 TE in the 14 team league at least is because I can use him at my flex position instead of Randle or Thomas.

The RB are real weak right now. I'll keep my roster as it is until a decent one becomes available then I'll drop Celek or Daniels (depending on who's been better)

Yes, but the problem is that the WRs you could have selected there would have much higher scoring potential. Guys like Josh Gordon, TY Hilton, DeSean Jackson, Shane Vereen all make much better flex plays than Daniels.

Generally speaking, TEs don't score as much as other skill position players drafted in the same round (through the first 7-8 rounds at least). If you take Jimmy Graham in the 2nd round, it isn't because he will score better than WR/RB options available then, it is because he is that much better than the other TEs.

The TE position for most teams is the lowest scoring spot on their roster. If you are starting two of them, unless it is Graham and Gronk (maybe Davis), you are giving away points.

Anyhow, good luck. It is always hard to add RBs after the draft, but you will have some chances. Just make sure you are ready to stake claim as soon as those options emerge.
