I understand the Titans have everything to prove, but based on sheer potential alone I don't see how they could be ranked 20th. But, as they say "just win, baby!"

There are flaws all over this chart. Maybe this is a prediction from them or something. This can't be from last year.

The worst part of this is that the rankings come from Gordon McGuinness of Pro Football Focus. I used to hold their player position grades sightly above most others. Now, whenever I see a ranking from them, I will consider it rubbish just like most others.

PFF is ok but you can't use their grades to tell us what is going to happen. They have the Rams as the 2nd least talented team in football because they can't grade all of the young players.

I'm wondering how my 9ers can have the 1st ranked WR corp while having the 17th ranked QB ? :noidea:

This is why I don't subscribe to espn insider. Their insider articles are garbage.

9) Detroit Lions
QB - 11 (AA); RB - 4 (HQ); REC - 6 (HQ); OL - 13 (AVG)

They got the receiving corp about right. QB & RB are too high and the OL is too low.

Miami is 18th in oline?
There are 7 running backs better than Lynch?
Tavon Austin is already a bust?

Yep & somehow - according to this moronic list - Tannehill is better than Luck & Wilson is better than Brady. What a joke.

Eagles have the best OL? Surely didn't take the preseason Week 1 game into consideration.

Not really sold on the Miami Dolphins having the 9th best QB situation either.

I've been waiting two long seasons for Ryan Tannehill to live up to the hype. And I figure I'll still be waiting after this year as well.

8) San Diego Chargers
QB - 6 (HQ); RB - 11 (AA); REC - 7 (AA); OL - 19 (AVG)

I think this is pretty fair. Maybe only 1 gripe - the O-line. Chargers finished the season last year ranked 13th. That was even with their starting LT missing 7 games. This year we keep the O-line; Fluker will be in his 2nd year vs being a rookie; we added Chris Watt and plenty of other depth. No reason to think we will drop 6 spots, when in fact we should be slightly better.

I would go: HQ; AA; AA; AA.

SF almost swept the board with their "high quality" marks. Now if only they could find a HQ QB. They'd be superbowl champs for sure

30) Buffalo Bills
QB - 31 (PR); RB - 14 (AVG); REC - 25 (BA): OL - 29 (PR)

How did their RB's only get a rating of "Average"?

Only 1 team last Season had more total rushing yards than the Bills, and both Jackson and Spiller were in the top 16 of RB's, with 933 & 890 yards. How many other teams had 2 RB's with close to 900 yards each?

And both of them were playing through injuries most of the Season, and behind an OL that is ranked "Poor".

:noidea:

I usually use Insider to look at recruiting information and the PickCenter information they have. Also, when someone I personally knew was a player in MLB (Jeff Clement), I liked using it to find out stuff about him.

I also don't take these rankings seriously. I like posting them because it's interesting in these threads and reactions can be good.
