Comeback by MSU.
Yea, I opened my big mouth too soon.
Jesus, Northwestern is horrible.
How exactly does that happen except for one team just not putting in any effort in the 1st half.

Cincy/WSU game today is why I'm excited about the potential of AAC as a basketball league. WSU was a great addition.
If UConn, Temple, and Memphis got their shit together then it'd be a heck of a basketball league.
Final list:
#3 Villanova (to unranked Providence)
#4 Xavier (to #3 Villanova)
#5 Cincinnati (twice; to unranked Houston and #19 Wichita State)
#6 Purdue (to unranked Wisconsin)
#7 Texas Tech (to unranked Baylor)
#8 Ohio State (twice; to unranked Penn State and #22 Michigan)
#10 Auburn (to unranked South Carolina)
#11 Clemson (to #12 Duke)
#15 St. Mary's (to unranked San Francisco)
#18 Tennessee (to unranked Georgia)
#20 West Virginia (to unranked Kansas)
#21 Texas A&M (twice; to unranked Missouri and unranked Arkansas)
#23 Oklahoma (twice and 4 in a row; to #7 Texas Tech and unranked Texas)
#25 Arizona State (to #17 Arizona)
I think it's safe to say the top 10 will look a lot different today.

AAC might have 4 bids this year. UC, WSU, Houston, and Temple.
Temple is considered a last 4 in. IMO.
Strength of Schedule : 9
RPI : 44
Wins over Clemson, Auburn, and Wichita State. Their only bad losses were against GW and LaSalle.

Based on the brackets I've seen from experts, they're not even on the radar as a bubble team. Pretty much need to win the conference tournament it seems

If they win out and get to the final of the AAC Tournament, there's a great chance they're getting in.
This would be their resume(assuming wins against East Carolina, Wichita State, and Houston in AACT)
Record: 21-13
Projected RPI: 23
Projected SOS: 5
Projected OOC SOS: 12
Q1 wins: 5
Only one time has a team with a top 25 RPI been left out of the tournament. And that was an MVC team.

Temple is a 12 loss team. No way they get in unless they win their conference tourney. Will say though that the AAC is a great division for basketball and football lately. Gonna be a very exciting tourney. Unless someone aside from Houston, Wichita State and Cincinnati win the tourney, I only see them getting 3 bids. Which sucks because I thought my Knights would challenge for a spot this year.

What if they lose their final regular season game to Wichita and get to the final of AAC tourney?
They've already played Wichita State twice(split). They have remaining games against UCF(home) and Uconn and Tulsa(road) so not inconceivable for them to win out, if the good Temple team shows up.
I do think they'll need to get to the final on top of winning out in the regular season.
Yes it did. If we had Tacko, we actually might be up there with Cincy and Wichita State, in my opinion. I just don't see them making it far in the AAC tourney. Maybe through the 2nd round but once they get to either Cincy or Houston or Wichita State, that's where trouble starts. They really haven't beaten any top teams. They annihilated Temple and also beat Alabama which I suppose is a decent win but they lost to teams like UConn and SMU. There's a good chance we could finish 20-10 being a 4 or 5 seed in the AAC tourney. Maybe finishing 22-11 or 21-11 after the tourney. Still not a good resume for the NCAA tourney though.UCF is a top 10 defensive team and could've easily been in the field. That injury to Takco Fall sucked.
See above post. They can definitely make it if the scenario above plays out. There's going to be a bunch of 4 and 5 seeds with double digit losses this year, so Temple even with winning out and losing the Final of the AACT, to get them a 13 loss won't eliminate them when their other numbers are going to be very, very good. If this scenario plays out, I actually think they'd be comfortably in(say 9/10 seed)
