My own personal opinion?

Having everyone know that I was overrated 93 times would be embarrassing.

This is one of those articles that a program should try to intercept.

Actually... the AP should have checked this as well. On the flip side of things it is blatant that they were wrong about one team 93 times as well. My god, are they trying to tarnish their own ranking system?

Notice the reference to the #93.

This wasn't an attack on the Sooners, just stating that this article isn't really something you want posted about your team. I would hate to see how many times Alabama was ranked #1 in comparison to the number of AP titles they actually have.

Oklahoma has started #1 and ended #1 more times than anyone else.

This is just a jinx though as I don't think OU gets past Florida State next week.

Alabama has been ranked #1 44 times in the AP poll. Ohio State has been ranked #1 90 times and USC has been ranked #1 89 times. It doesn't mean they were all losers every time they didn't win a NC. What it does mean is Alabama, Ohio State and USC all have a helluva football program.....just like OU
